Driven by an overactive sense of justice, Kirsty has been a powerful advocate and political activist in support of survivors of childhood sexual abuse for many years.
In 2017/18 Kirsty staged a parliamentary sit-in, leading to important law reform for survivors.
She now applies these reforms in her role as specialist Law Clerk at Bradley Bayly Legal, bringing justice to abuse survivors. Her team has been awarded for “always sticking up for the little guy” and through this work, she once briefly shared a podium with fellow Law Clerk, Erin Brockovich.
Kirsty is an in-demand public speaker, which has included presenting several times at TEDx events.
With a strong connection to her community, Kirsty is active in voluntary roles on various committees and is the long-term foundation chair of a local school board.
Outside of work and volunteering, Kirsty loves spending time with her husband and daughter, attending the cricket and football or watching science documentaries together.
