Melissa Letizia completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at Murdoch University in 2017. During her studies, Melissa studied International Human Rights Law in Geneva, Switzerland.
Melissa commenced her legal career in 2013, working as a paralegal and law clerk and she was admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in May 2018.
Melissa has experience in multiple areas of personal injury and insurance law including medical negligence, professional negligence, motor vehicle personal injury claims, catastrophic injury claims, workers ’ compensation, cyclist accidents, aircraft accidents, fatal accidents, public liability and total and permanent disablement claims.
Melissa has attended WorkCover, the District Court, the Supreme Court and the State Administrative Tribunal to represent her client’s interests.
In 2018, Melissa was a Co-Author of the Western Australian Law Handbook which is published on Austlii.
